Dr. Dailey joined Galen in 2014 after relocating from Cincinnati, Ohio, where she held many positions within academics and nursing. A nurse with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Dailey began her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse. Her registered nursing experience includes neurological ICU, orthopedic, and medical-surgical units as both a primary caregiver and administrative leadership roles.
Dr. Dailey has held many positions within academia including faculty, clinical coordinator, practicum coordinator, associate PN administrator, and PN program administrator for a multi-site nursing program. Additionally, Dr. Dailey has held the office of Dean for a private college of 2,000 plus students with 150 faculty, offering 22 separate degrees ranging from diploma to baccalaureate. Most recently, she held full-time faculty status within a traditional and second-degree baccalaureate of nursing program.
Dr. Dailey obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on educational leadership in October of 2019 from American Sentinel University. In addition, she earned a Masters of Nursing (MSN) Degree in 2008 from South University in Savannah, GA, a BSN from the University of Cincinnati, and an AAS from Northern Kentucky University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International honor society of Nursing and the National League for Nursing
