  • During the Capstone Preparation course (4850-P), students will complete a graduation application, which is essentially a graduation survey. At this time students will elect to either attend or not attend the commencement ceremony.
  • Student Support Liaisons will provide campus specific information related to the commencement ceremony, including contact information for the Campus Graduation Coordinators.
  • Students order invitations, regalia, and other graduation needs with assistance from the Campus Graduation Coordinators.

How should I dress?

Our commencement ceremony is a formal event.  Faculty, staff, and students should dress suitably for a formal event.  Graduating males should wear dress slacks, dress shirt, shoes and tie. Graduating females should wear dress slacks, dress or skirt, and dress shoes.  Inappropriate dress attire would be identified as flip flops, shorts, jeans, track suit, or sweat pants.  Students participating in the ceremony should wear their graduation attire under their gowns.  For your personal safety, please keep shoes to a modest heel (3″).

When can I expect my diploma?

Diplomas and one copy of your official transcript will be mailed approximately 3 weeks after your completion date. Diploma covers and pins are distributed at the Graduation ceremony.

How long is the ceremony?
