Many college students are unaware of the resources available to help pay for their educations – and there are also a number of resources out there intended exclusively for nursing students*. Remember to avoid scholarship scams, which can be typified by any scholarship offer that requires a significant up-front fee, requires a debit or credit card number, promises to “do all the work for you” or guarantees you will win a scholarship.

Galen College of Nursing (Galen) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. Galen consists of a Main Campus located in Kentucky and off-campus instructional sites in Florida, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Branch campus accreditation is dependent upon the continued accreditation of the Main Campus.
