Galen College of Nursing’s San Antonio Campus Earns Top LVN Program Ranking in Texas

In a recent ranking, put on by practicalnursing.org, Galen College of Nursing’s San Antonio campus was recognized as one of the best Practical Nursing programs for those looking to become a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in Texas.

College programs were judged on how well students do on exams, job placement rates and feedback from current students, with Galen landing second overall.

Coursework typically covers essential nursing concepts such as patient care, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and medical-surgical nursing. As well as clinical rotations which give students the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in real healthcare settings, working alongside experienced professionals.
