Galen College of Nursing today announced plans to open its newest campus in Panama City Beach, expanding access to nursing education in North Florida. The new campus will mark Galen’s sixth location in the Sunshine State, joining campuses in Miami, Gainesville, Tampa Bay, Orlando and Sarasota.
Located at 200 Richard Jackson Boulevard, just blocks from Front Beach Road, the new campus will initially offer Galen’s two-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), one of the fastest pathways for students pursuing careers as registered nurses.
Galen designed the new campus with nursing students in mind. It will feature technology-enhanced classrooms, realistic simulation labs and comprehensive student support resources. These learning environments will give students opportunities to build confidence and develop the hands-on skills they need to enter nursing practice.

Galen’s expansion comes as Florida faces a growing need for nurses. According to the Florida Hospital Association, the state could face a shortage of nearly 60,000 nurses over the next decade. As part of the HCA Healthcare family, Galen College of Nursing is working to meet that demand by preparing more practice-ready nurses and expanding access to nursing education throughout Florida.
