How to Prepare for Class

Here’s where to find important info about campus tech requirements, program standards and certifications, and textbooks.

The library maintains current booklists. Choose the tab for your current program to find the latest list.

As you search for textbooks ahead of each term, we recommend you:

  • Verify that the book is correct: Look at multiple pieces of information, such as title, author, edition, and the ISBN-13.
  • Buy only what you need for one term at a time: Booklists may change each term.
  • Purchase the format that is most effective for you: Multiple formats (electronic, hardcover, paperback) may be available.

Galen College of Nursing (Galen) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctorate degrees. Galen also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Galen consists of a Main Campus located in Kentucky and off-campus instructional sites in Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Branch campus accreditation is dependent upon the continued accreditation of the Main Campus.
