As a college solely dedicated to nursing, Galen understands the unique needs of busy RNs and has created two Online MSN options tailored to meet those needs. The Healthcare Leadership and Nurse Educator programs feature all the elements you need in an online program, like flexibility, affordability, quality, and convenience.
Offered over 8-week modules, our program features extensive 3D graphics, interactive animation, and video content to keep learning engaging and fun. They’re mobile-friendly, highly interactive, and ACEN and SACSCC accredited.
Based on the nurse leader competencies developed by American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), this MSN option provides knowledge and skill development for baccalaureate-prepared nurses interested in advancing into a leadership role within the healthcare setting.
Galen’s Online MSN, Nurse Educator option will provide students with the skills to teach and inspire the next generation of nurses. This online advanced studies option prepares graduates to lead quality improvement initiatives in today’s complex healthcare environments, teach in academic settings through scholarly inquiry and leadership, and help transform nursing education in both academic and clinical staff development.
Students will gain valuable experience engaging in a nurse educator role during a practicum experience in an educational setting. Graduates of the program will meet the eligibility requirements for the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE®) examination.
Because distance education authorization requirements vary, the program may not be available in all states. In order to enroll and continue enrollment in the program, students in the Online MSN program must remain a resident of a state in which Galen has all necessary approvals. Please contact our Admissions team for questions related to your specific state.
