Students and parents may choose to borrow private educational loans when the cost of a student’s educational expenses exceeds the amount of financial aid the student has received, leaving a gap. Private loans are often referred to as gap funding. Students and parents should always exhaust their federal loan options before considering a private loan.
If you need a private loan to cover your cost of attendance while attending Galen College of Nursing, we encourage students and parents to carefully research the options available.
FastChoice is a tool that allows you to compare loan options and access private loan applications from one site. The lenders and loan options presented in FastChoice include participating lenders who other Galen students have used within the past three years. You are free to choose any lender, including those not presented on the FastChoice site. Galen does not rank, recommend, promote, or endorse any of these lenders. We strongly encourage you to review each lender’s information considering interest rates, loan fees, repayment terms, and deferment and forbearance options before choosing a lender.
