For Jennie Phillips, a Galen College of Nursing student, the decision to become a nurse is rooted in a desire to help and care for young children. Students at Galen College of Nursing’s Aurora Campus recently got a front-row seat to the realities of emergency care during a large-scale Mass Casualty Simulation at HCA HealthONE Swedish Medical Center. The immersive exercise put students in the middle of a fast-moving crisis and highlighted the teamwork required to save lives.
