    Katie Gamez, a two-time graduate of Galen College of Nursing, was recently honored with a Daisy Award for her exceptional and compassionate care as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, Texas. Having earned her Vocational Nursing (VN) diploma and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Galen, Gamez credits her education with instilling the importance of compassionate care in her career.
