In 2023, Galen College of Nursing was awarded a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education™ designation by the National League for Nursing.
Today, fewer than 10% of nursing institutions hold this designation, which is designed for nursing schools or healthcare organizations that have achieved a level of excellence in a specific area. Galen College of Nursing (Galen) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctorate degrees. Galen also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
