Marshall Moore currently serves as Vice President of Campus Operations at Galen College of Nursing. He brings more than 15 years of higher education administration and operational leadership experience to the role. Charged with overseeing daily operational campus functions, Marshall ensures the college’s campuses, student support, and administrative processes run efficiently to support an exceptional learning environment for future nurses.
Marshall joined Galen College of Nursing in 2015 when it consisted of 4 campuses. He has been an instrumental leader in a period of hyper growth, leading campuses at a local, regional, and national level as expansion occurred to over 20+ campuses.
Marshall is recognized for strategic vision and a commitment to continuous improvement at scale. Under his guidance, campus operations have been streamlined to enhance student engagement, faculty and staff collaboration, and overall employee engagement. He has significant expertise in campus administration and operations management, facilities planning and resource allocation, staff development and team leadership, student support services, compliance with regulatory standards, budgeting and fiscal responsibility, and emergency operations & business continuity
Prior to joining the college, Marshall held progressively responsible roles in operations and management, where he led cross-functional teams and initiated innovative programs to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. Marshall holds a Masters in Business Administration.

The duration of nursing school depends on the program you choose. And knowing how long a program will take will be a big factor in your decision on which program is right for you. At Galen, we have pathways for folks new to nursing, all with different timelines. Program offerings vary by campus location. Check with an enrollment counselor to see which options are available near you. The practical vocational nursing program takes as little as 12 months to complete. Then you’re ready to sit for the NCLEX PN exam to become a licensed PN or VN. With this pathway, you can be in a position to start working sooner. And after obtaining your LPN -LVN, if you decide to advance your career and become a registered nurse, you can pursue an ADN through our bridge program, which takes an additional 18 months. The next pathway is our associate degree in nursing, or ADN program. This program takes as little as 24 months and is the fastest pathway to working and earning as an RN. The most extensive pathway to nursing is Galen’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or BSN program. This program takes three years to complete, and for a good reason. With a BSN, you can have an educational background and skill set to pursue specialty and leadership nursing roles.
