The library maintains current booklists. Next, choose the tab for your current program.

To schedule an appointment with the next available Galen librarian based on the date and time you choose, please make an appointment.

On the Getting Started page, under the Math tab, choose Dimensional Analysis and Standardized Laboratory Values. The next page has a link to a PDF file with lab values along with values for vital signs and therapeutic drug monitoring.

  1. Log into Canvas.
  2. Go to your Courses and click on the Student Resource Center.
  3. Click on the Workshop Calendar.
  4. Find the topic and date you are looking for.
  5. Follow the instructions to sign up for the session.

Turnitin is a third-party plagiarism detection service that Galen subscribes to and uses in all pre-licensure courses. As a student, you can use this learning resource tool to check your academic assignments for originality before submitting final drafts to faculty.

Academic Writer, from the American Psychological Association, is a writing tool to help you set up your research papers using correct APA format. Within the platform, there are example papers, tutorials and a formatting tool that will set up your paper in APA format. All you have to do is fill in the blanks!

A Premium Grammarly account is included in the cost of your tuition. This tool will help you improve your writing. Think of it as a really powerful version of “Spell Check”. To set up a Grammarly Premium account, navigate to “Academic Resources” in the Student Resource Center, then create your account using your Galen email address.
