Practical/Vocational Nursing

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

12-MONTH FULL-TIME (Days) or 21-MONTH PART-TIME (Evenings)

Becoming a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse is a great way to get into a high-demand, rewarding career. As an indispensable member of the patient-care team, LPNs/LVNs communicate with patients, reporting back status to the team, assist in developing a plan of care, and provide patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.

This is also a great way to get started in nursing by gaining the education to start working in the nursing field, then continue on your path towards becoming an RN. You’ll have a leg up with a solid foundation from your PN/VN program, as well as valuable real-world clinical experience to apply to your continuing education.

Four starts per year: January, April, July, September

  • 12-month, full-time (Louisville, Tampa Bay and San Antonio)
  • 21-month, part-time evenings (Louisville and San Antonio only)

Net Price Calculator
The Net Price Calculator is a guide to assist in the early stages of financial planning for college. It will provide a non-binding estimate of federal, state, and institutional aid eligibility based on federal methodology.

Please note this calculator is for estimate only and was created to help individuals gauge what kind of financial aid may be available to help cover the cost of college attendance. Actual award package will vary, depending on time of year, regulatory changes, and availability of funds.
